A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Derrick obtained a bachelor’s degree in Civil &
Environmental Engineering and a minor in Construction Management. He has over 10 years of
experience in geotechnical construction throughout the United States. His background has
exposed him to a wide variety of techniques including micropiles, caissons, tiebacks, sheet
piling, driven piles, and support of excavations. Derrick has been a part of the Ferraro team
since early 2014.

Tony Rotella

Having joined Ferraro in March of 2015, Tony brought with him experience in directional drilling,
grouting, and micropiles. He had previously been a general superintendent and construction
manager for other contractors in the Buffalo area. While with Ferraro, he has overseen pile
driving, sheet piling, and drilling projects throughout New York State.
